I’ve mistaken a Forte for an SS, but the Malibu doesn’t resemble it in any way other than having 4 doors and a bowtie.

I’ve been caught by the resemblance myself. And where the SS doesn’t look like a Malibu, it just looks like a generic Car. It begs to be stripped of its bowties and used in bank promotions for auto loans.
